Organic vs Commercial Products

We all like to think that we're smart shoppers. That we know what's in the things we buy, what we're putting on and in our body. But do we really know? For example, are half of you aware that multitudes of the things in your soap are trying to kill you?

Are you aware of all of the chemicals that are in your soaps? Many commercial soaps contain harmful ingredients such as phthalates, parabens, petrochemicals, which are derived from petroleum and could have harmful long term effects on your health, synthetic dyes and artificial perfumes, all of which have very harmful effects on your body. Many of these chemicals are known to cause cancer, birth defects, nervous system disorders, and many of these are known to aggravate and even cause acne even though they say they will prevent it. Many companies will say that these chemicals are in such low dosages that they will have virtually no effect on your health. But if you are using these products at least five times a day, over time they will start to seriously impact your health.

The factories these soaps are produced in also create environmental waste and degrade the environment. Many of these factories have their workers operating in subpar conditions, and can negatively effect the lives of those living around the factory.

Commercial company's main concerns are their profits, and won't hesitate in cutting corners to save a buck. They'll produce products that contain harmful chemicals, in the interest of increasing their profit margins and increasing shelf life. They put their own concerns over the concern of the customer and the customer's well being. They claim that their is no risk in using their product, but why are we taking the risk? People are destroying their skin, and actually experiencing hair loss from their shampoos and conditions that claim to benefit their hair.

To improve your health and the environment, you should be purchasing all natural soaps. Not only are the ingredients much healthier for you, you also will be supporting a local business and helping the economy grow. Many of the ingredient in all natural soap are harvested in a safe way, and you can recognize the ingredients in them and the way they will effect your body.

Natural companies have a focus those major corporations just don't: you. They care about the well being of their customer, and the area that they work in. They harvest natural resources, usually resources that are local, benefit the local economy, and make a product thats a win-win-win. Win for you that you get this great, healthy product, win for your area that the economy is being boosted and that the income is usually being reintroduced into the same area, and a win for the small company that they made a product that people love, and benefits multiple groups. Sure you might have to pay a bit more, but at least you're contributing to an organization that is focused on you and not their shareholders.

The people who make these products are usually local, and care much more about your health and well being than any big commercial company will. All natural companies put care into the products they create, so you know that you are getting the best product for your health. Big companies are usually only concerned with their profits, and don't focus on the quality. They put the need of their shareholders before they even think about their customers. The next time you go grocery shopping, think about these things before you buy from a big company, and read the label, so you know just what you are putting on your bodyScheduleSchedule
